The presence of varroa mites in honeybees is one of the major pests encountered by the beekeepers worldwide. So the researcher formulated different concentrations of amitraz in controlling varroa mites to determine the efficacy of 4L, 7L, and 10L of water per 1ml of amitraz. This was conducted at NARTDI Apiary Site located at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union. Twelve standard colonies with seven frames were used in the study and were randomly distributed into four treatments and three blocks following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). Based on the results of the study, the different concentrations of amitraz 4L, 7L, and 10L water per 1ml of amitraz had similar effects on controlling varroa mites.
