Abstract
This study explored the success of 13 rural women agribusiness entrepreneurs in La Union using qualitative-phenomenological approach. It examined their socio-economic profiles, success factors, challenges, coping mechanisms, and best practices through in depth Key Informant Interviews, focusing on profitability, growth, and community impact. The study concludes that agribusiness women in La Union come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Their success is attributed to motivations, local government support, and effective coping strategies. They face challenges including health, labor, promotion, inflation, and infrastructure issues. Best practices include maintaining quality products, building connections, good customer service, professional growth, visibility, and self-improvement, highlighting the importance of women empowerment. The output was IEC materials showcasing the success stories of rural women in La Union, highlighting best practices and strategies. Encourage networking, celebrate successes, advocate for local government support, address challenges through collaboration, focus on quality and learning, and conduct further comprehensive studies.
