This study on the growth and survival of Tubang Bakod (Jatropha curcas Linn.) cuttings as affected by different rooting hormones was conducted at the Greenhouse of the Agroforestry Nursery of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union from August 2006 to January 2007. The study aimed to determine the best rooting hormones (ANAA and Hormex) on the growth and survival of tubang bakod cuttings in terms of the number of days from planting to shoot emergence, length and number of shoots, number of leaves, and number of primary roots, length of primary roots and survival percentage. A total of two hundred seventy (270) cuttings were used and distributed into thirty (30) cuttings per treatment. The study was laid out using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in three replications.
