dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to determine the level of attainment on the outcomes of the Plastic Bag Use Regulatory Ordinance in the Municipality of San Gabriel, La Union. Using the descriptive research design, the study was conducted through incidental sampling. The data were gathered through the aid of questionnaire, supported by interviews and personal observation. A total of two hundred (200) respondents were selected for the study, comprised of 100 vendors and 100 buyers/consumers. The data were analyzed and interpreted using frequency counts, percentages, means, average means and t-tests. Results revealed a positive impact in the implementation of the Plastic Bag Use Regulatory Ordinance. The positive outcomes of the ordinance primarily on the environment were highly attained.
