This study assessed the impact of Azolla pinnata extract as a drinking water supplement on broiler chicken performance. Twenty-five Cobb broilers were divided into five groups: control (plain water), antibiotic growth promoter, and 1%, 3%, and 5% Azolla extract. Key metrics, including growth performance, carcass traits, organoleptic evaluation, and cost analysis, were analyzed using One-Way Analysis of Variance, descriptive statistics and Tukey’s HSD with SPSS software. Results indicated that broilers receiving 1% Azolla extract (T1) exhibited the highest final weight (1750g), net weight gain (1692g), and best feed conversion ratio (1.88), outperforming the antibiotic and higher-concentration groups. Organoleptic evaluations favored the 3% extract (T2) for taste and texture. Profitability was highest in the control and 1% Azolla groups. The findings suggest that 1% Azolla pinnata extract is a viable, cost-effective alternative to antibiotics, enhancing broiler growth and meat quality without compromising economic returns.
