dc.description.abstractFoliar fertilizers can be considered fast acting nutrient source of crops hence, a study was conducted to determine the effect of various foliar fertilizers on the growth and yield of eggplants and to find out the best foliar fertilizer for eggplant employing the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) at the Vegetable Center Farm of DMMMSU-NLUC from October 19, 2005 to February 11, 2006. Based on the results of the study, the application of foliar fertilizers like Bayfolan (11-8-6), Farmate HM2-2000 and Wokozim had a comparable effect with that of the 270 kg N/ha on the growth and yield of four months old eggplants.
