Due to increasing pollution of drinking water from different human activities, it is hard to find and acquire drinkable and safe water especially on localities that already struggles on finding water. The study aims to help solve this problem by incorporating water filters to remove contaminants and a reverse osmosis filter is added to further remove micro-contaminations present in water as well as reducing its overall total dissolved solid (TDS), it also tries to use two power input to the machine which is both battery power and pedal power making it flexible in scenarios where power grid is not available or on localities far from power grids. The pedal pump has a capacity of 2.81LPM at face pace pedaling with discharge efficiency of 57.57% and 1.95 LPM at normal pace pedaling with discharge efficiency of 96.76% while the electric pump has capacity of 2.62LPM with discharge efficiency of 32.75% while the 75gpd reverse osmosis has a clean water capacity of 0.28LPM at recommended wastewater valve setting at 1⁄4 open, also the machine showed an average overall filtration efficiency of 96.48% and achieved TDS up to 8ppm and lastly the pedal powered pump showed a 61.50% of power conversion efficiency. The machine showed that it can achieve the Philippine national drinking standard in mandatory 10ppm of TDS at certain setting and conditions of reverse osmosis and input water, but it showed that it achieves this measurement at deep well input and clean rivers.
