dc.description.abstractThe study aims to assess the status of sea urchin livelihood projects in La Union. A total of 120 were respondents (86 direct respondents and 34 indirect respondents) were chosen total numeration. Respondents were personally interviewed with the use of prepared questionnaire. Weighted means, percentage, frequency counts and correlation were the statistical tools used in the analysis and interpretation of data. Result showed that 50% of the respondents were male and 48.33% were females. Most of the respondents were from the age bracket of 40- 44 (26.67%). Majority of them were married; most them had undergone formal education. Most of them owned house. Analysis showed high positive correlation and there is a significant relationship between the activities and factors affecting the implementation of sea urchin project. The respondents agree that the foremost problem encountered on the implementation of livelihood projects was no monitoring of the projects.
