dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to develop a Houland: A Virtual Real Estate Marketplace for easy access and hassle-free estate searching. Specifically, (a) it aimed to determine the socio-demographic profile of respondents; (b) determine the vulnerability of the developed system; (c) assess the level of acceptability of the developed system; and (d) determine the significant difference in the perception of respondents. This study used the descriptive and developmental type of research with interviews, journal reviews, and survey questionnaires as the main tools for gathering data. The system was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, Sublime text editor, and Google Chrome. The agile model was used in developing the system. The results were: a) socio-demographic profile of the respondents shows that most respondents were aged 31-35,36-40 and 41-45. (b) the developed system was able to withstand security attacks; (c) The level of the developed device tests showed that the developed system was “Acceptable”; (d) There are no significant differences in perception of sex and respondents in the acceptability of the developed system as to functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, security, and portability of the developed system.
