An efficient peanut dehulling machine was created to remove peanuts from their shells for fast dehulling. Project Developmental Design employed as the research methodology for its systematic designing, development and evaluation process as well as the use of the Engineering Design Process (EDP) to establish the effectiveness of the machine. Findings show that the Peanut Dehulling Machine has a high throughput capacity of 25.78 g/sec and a shelling efficiency of 98.49 %. It has a material efficiency of 83.2%, low damaged peanuts of 16.6%, and high cleaning efficiency of 96.86%. Succinctly, the overall efficiency of the machine is 79.37 % which shows that the Dehulling Machine machine is effective.
