dc.description.abstractOrganic farming is an eco- friendly farming system because its frequent use to improve the quality of the farm products. Hence, a study on the performance of two varieties of mungbean (Pag asa 7 and Mg 12) to kinds of organic fertilizer (no application; seaweeds tea (500 ml per linear meter); vermicompost tea (1 liter per linear meter); Manure tea (2 liter per linear meter) employing the split plot technique in three blocks was conducted at Bangar, La Union from November 17, 2013 to January 31, 2014. Results of the study revealed that Pag asa 7significantly better than Mg 12 in terms of seed yield 1014.45 g/plot . Applications of manure tea significantly increase the yield of mungbean plants, while applications of seaweeds tea significantly increase the number of pods per plant. Pag asa 7 applied with seaweeds tea significantly obtained the highest number of pods per plant, the tallest plants and the earliest to flower.All the parameters used were not significantly influenced by the application of either seaweeds , vermicompost tea
