The study was conducted from December to February 2005 at the Amburayan river Irrigation System, Sudipen, La Union to determine the performance of AMRIS considering the following parameters; equity in the distribution of water in the system, productivity on how the system utilized the land resources to increase crop production, and the efficiency of the system that reflects the water delivery capability. Performance of AMRIS was evaluated from year 1999 to 2003. Results indicated that the equity of the system during wet season was significantly higher compared to dry season. However, the productivity of the system did not show significant increase in the area utilized against the potential area during wet and dry season Furthermore, the efficiency of the system in terms of water distribution was higher during dry season than in wet season.
