Rice middlings, a by-product of rice mill industry is one potential source of feed for broilers because it is cheap and rich in energy and protein. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the best level of rice middlings as feed extender in broiler productions and to determine the profit above feed, medicine and stock cost of broiler using the different levels of rice middlings. The study was conducted employing the Randomized Complete Block Design with tree blocks using 10%, 15% and 20% level of rice middlings. It was conducted at the Poultry Project of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union from August 2, 2011 to September 5, 2011. Result of the study revealed that the experimental birds fed with different levels of rice middlings were comparable to those birds fed with commercial ration in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.
