Due to the high cost of feeds, many researchers are finding ways to bring down the cost of producing broilers through the use of local materials as feed extenders. This study was conducted to determine the influence of different levels of rensoni leaf meal (3%, 6% and 9%) to broilers and to determine the profitability of feeding rensoni leaf meal. The study was conducted at the Poultry Project of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan La Union from January 14, 2011 to February 18, 2011. Sixty, (14 day old) chicks were used in the study employing the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three blocks with five birds per replication. The results of the study revealed that birds fed with different levels of rensoni leaf meal as feed extender had comparable performance with those birds without rensoni in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion efficiency, and profit above feed, medicine, and stock cost.
