| dc.description.abstract | Previous research findings showed that wet feeding resulted increases to high feed consumption and better feed utilization of layers. Hence, this study was conducted at Libunao Residence, Brgy. Sapilang Bacnotan, La Union from February 7, 2009 to March 14, 2009 to determine the performance of broilers subjected to wet feeding in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion efficiency and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost. The finding of the study revealed that wet feeding ( 1 part water : 1 part feed and 1 part water : 2 parts feed ratio ) did not significantly influence the performance of broilers in terms of final weight, gain in weight, feed conversion efficiency and profit above feed medicine and cost of stock cost. However, broilers fed with dry feed and wet feed (1 part water:1 part feed ratio ) significantly consumed higher amount of feed than the broilers given with 1 part water : 2 part feed ratio. | |
