dc.description.abstractOne way to increase production in the agroforestry system is through intercropping vegetables in between newly established plantation of fruit crops and through the use of organic fertilizer such as Bio-N, chicken manure and goat manure. This study aimed to determine the growth and yield of smooth green okra as affected by organic fertilizers planted between rambutan trees and the growth of rambutan. Result revealed that applying organic fertilizers to smooth green okra planted in between rambutan performed comparably in terms of plant height, number of leaves at maturity, total number of pods produced, diameter of pods, weight of pods and net income. However application of 40g goat manure per hill (T4) and Bio-N + 20 46-0-0 (T2) significantly increase the length of pods.
