This study was conducted to: (1) determine the different husbandry management practices employed in raising native pig; (2) determine the health management practices for native pigs; and (3) determine the degree of seriousness of problems in raising native pigs. The study made use of the descriptive survey research through a questionnaire. Data and information gathered were arranged, tabulated, and analyzed using mean, frequency counts, and percentages. The husbandry and health management practices of native pig raisers in the first district of La Union are still traditional but enhanced with some modernized means. The degree of seriousness of problems in raising native pigs is low.
