Nitrogen fertilizer is one of the lacking nutrients in the soil due to continuous planting. Hence, this stidy on the rates of nirtogen fertilizer (64.72 g of BSR, BSR + 2.49 g of Urea, BSR + 4.98 g of Urea, BSR + 7.49 g of Urea and no fertilization) on letteuce employing the RCBD in four blocks was conducted in Sapilanf, Bacnotan, La Union from November 21, 2015 to January 29, 2016. Results revealed that lettuce applied with BSR + 7.49 g of Urea significantly performaned better in terms of the number of leaves, shoot length, biomass, weight of the head of lettuce in gram and kilogram/hectare than those applied with 64.72 g of BSR, BSR + 2.49 g of Urea, BSR + 4.98 g of Urea.
