This study was conducted to determine the effect of population density 3,5,7,9 heads/5sqm in rearing broiler on range. It was conducted in Salincob, Bacnotan, La Union from November 15, 2015-December 27, 2015. Seventy-two heads of broilers at 21 days old were used in the study employing the RCBD in three blocks. The result of the study revealed that rearing broilers on range at 3 heads/ 5sqm yielded to a poor feed conversion ratio and higher feed consumption. On the other hand, birds reared at different population densities performed comparably in terms of final and gain in weight, and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.
