The high cost of commercial feeds prompted poultry raisers to look for alternative sources of feed such as silkworm waste and rice bran. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the performance of broilers fed with silkworm waste meal and rice bran from October 19, 2013 to November 23, 2013 in San Martin, Bacnotan, La Union. A total of 90, fourteen day old broiler chicks were randomly distributed into six treatments with three blocks following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The result of the study showed that the final weight, gain in weight and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost of birds fed with 20% rice bran and 5% silkworm waste + 15% rice bran was comparable to those birds fed with pure BSM.
