Abstract
The night market in the City of San Fernando, La Union is a popular destination for locals and tourists, street food vendors offer a diverse range of street food options. The study was conducted to determine the profile, operations management practices, and financial performance of night market street food vendors, and the relationship between their operations management practices and financial performance. Data from 57-night market street food vendors were gathered using a validated questionnaire and were Analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, mean, and Cramer’s V con-elation. The findings revealed that all street food vendors' products offered were fried snacks and ready-to-cook food, their sales practices were competitive pricing, 3 for specified prices and products were sold per piece, and their inventory practices were purchased in retail, preserving the food by freezing and chilling and purchased in cash and in financial performance, the average daily sales of street food vendors are Php 7,000 above, and the average daily net income is Php 1,000- Php 2,000. Further, there is no significant relationship between the operations management practices and financial performance of night market street food vendors in the City of San Fernando, La Union.
