This study assessed workplace diversity in the district hospitals of La Union, focusing on employees’ profile, the level of implementation of diversity management strategies, and the challenges encountered in promoting workplace inclusion. A quantitative-descriptive research design was utilized involving 382 employees from Bacnotan, Balaoan, Caba, Naguilian, and Rosario District Hospitals. Data were gathered using a validated researcher-made questionnaire and analyzed through frequency, percentage, median, and ranking methods. Findings revealed moderate to high diversity in age, gender, residence, employment status, educational attainment, and specialization. Most employees were female, permanently employed, bachelor’s degree holders, and specialized in healthcare and administrative work. However, representation of minority ethnic groups and persons with disabilities remained limited. Diversity management strategies were highly implemented across hospitals. Despite this, challenges included limited resources, insufficient monitoring systems, lack of inclusive training, favoritism, weak communication, and difficulty measuring diversity outcomes and organizational performance effectively within the participating district hospitals.
