Abstract
Antibiotics have been used in poultry production as therapeutic agents to heat
bacterial infections that decrease performance and leave residues to the body of a bird
and that can cause disease to the consumer. The use of organic supplements such as
fermented plant juice and lactic acid bacteria serum that serve as probiotics can be used
as an alternate antibiotics.

2015. A total of 90, 14 day old chicks wererandomly distributed into six
Treatments, following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three blocks.
The result of the study revealed insignificant result in terms of final weight, gain
in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio, cost of feed to produce a kilogram
gain in weight and profit above feed ,medicine and stock cost of birds supplemented with
fermented malunggay leaves and Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum.
