The increasing demand for sustainable waste management and agricultural innovation has driven the development of alternative technologies for resource utilization. This study aimed to design, develop, and evaluate a wet oyster shell pulverizer as an efficient solution for converting oyster shell waste into a useful soil amendment. Using a project development research design, the study followed a systematic process of design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation. The machine was constructed from durable, cost-efficient materials and utilized a hammer mill mechanism powered by a 1.119 kW electric motor to process both wet and dry oyster shells effectively. Performance testing through ten trials assessed efficiency, production capacity, and operational consistency. Results showed an average efficiency of 86% for dry shells and 76.90% for wet shells, with capacities of 17.779 kg/hr. and 18.342 kg/hr. The machine produced uniform particles and operated with low energy consumption, proving it to be portable, cost-effective, and efficient.
