| dc.description.abstract | Pottery is seen as an art, expression, culture, and livelihood. Studying the financial performance of pottery-making businesses ensures long-term sustainability by assessing their financial standing, equipping them with knowledge of financial management, and becoming resilient in a rapidly evolving century. The study was conducted to determine their financial performance in terms of revenue, liquidity, profitability, and leverage. Data was gathered from 13 pottery-making businesses using a validated survey questionnaire and analyzed using frequency count and percentage, Spearman’s rho, and Kruskal-Wallis Test. Findings revealed that pottery-making businesses are all registered, classified as micro enterprises, sole proprietorships, operating for a long time, sourcing raw materials inside La Union, sourcing inventory inside and outside La Union, and offering a diverse product. Further, they have strong sales performance, a highly liquid, profitable, and not highly leveraged business. Last, all profiling variables were not significant to the financial performance of pottery-making businesses. | |
