The study was conceptualized to determine the postharvest loss of rice combine harvester in dry soil condition. The model of rice combine harvester used was the DC70 plus and the speed is uniform at 4000 RPM. The parameters evaluate are header loss, blower loss, separation loss, unthreshed loss and total operation loss. The result showed that the header loss is 0.40%, blower loss is 1.67%, separation loss is 1.82%, unthreshed loss is 0.08% and total operation loss is 3.97 %. From this result, it exceeds the maximum criteria for rice combine harvester specified in the standards of 3.20% total operation loss. The result of the simple cost analysis of the use of the machine revealed that the Break-Even-Point is 78 ha/yr and the Payback Period is 5.2 years.
