Abstract
The goal of this study is to determine the influence of tillage methods and organic foliar fertilizers on the performance of Siling labuyo planted between calamansi trees. From February 27 to May 29, 2023, the study was carried out in the Agroforestry Research and Demonstration Farm of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-College of Agroforestry and Forestry in Bacnotan, La Union. The study was organized using a Split Plot Design with three blocks. The treatments employed were main plots: tillage methods such as T0 (zero tillage), T1 (minimum tillage), and T3 (conventional tillage), and subplots: organic foliar fertilizers such as B0 (control), B1 (indigenous microorganism), B2 (fermented plant juice), and B3 (fermented fruit juice). The effect of tillage methods, organic foliar fertilizers, and interaction effect revealed that there was no significant difference in the days from transplanting to fruit emergence, number of secondary 30, 60, 90 DAT, days to 50% flowering, number of fruits per plot, marketable fruits, height, computed yield per plot and per hectare, and gross income, but net income was found to be highly significantly different.
