Abstract
The study aimed to develop an e-DSRDI: An Online Marketplace for DMMMSU SRDI to provide a platform where buyers and sellers can conduct transactions securely and conveniently. Specifically, this study sought to: a) determine current problems in selling products; b) assess the ICT resources profile; c) evaluate the readiness of the developed system; d) determine the socio-economic profile of respondents; e) evaluate the vulnerability of the developed system; f) assess the acceptability of the developed system; and g) determine significant differences in the perception of respondents.
Results indicate: a) The developed system effectively aids buyers in purchasing DMMMSU-SRDI products; b) The institution is equipped to implement the system in terms of hardware, software, network infrastructure, and security; c) Marketing staff and clients are positive about system implementation; d) Respondents are primarily aged 26-30, with a salary of Php 10,000 and below; e) The system withstands security attacks; f) The developed system is acceptable across all indicators; g) Analysis shows no significant differences in respondent perception based on sex and respondent type.
