This study was conducted to determine the response of lettuce (Var. Grand Rapid) to timing of irrigation water application. Specifically, it aimed to determine: a) the growth of lettuce in terms of height, b) the yield of lettuce in terms of weight, and c) which among the treatment would give the highest yield of lettuce. It also aimed to find out and compare the yield per water use. This study was conducted at Km 6 Balili, La Trinidad Benguet from January to February 2016. One thousand one hundred fifty two seedlings were used in this study. The experimental area was laid-out using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four (4) treatments replicated three (3) times. Irrigation was done or applied when the following Available Moisture Depletions were reached: 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. These were used as treatments T1, T2, T3, and T4, respectively. Data gathered were tabulated and analyzed using SPSS. The result of the study showed that the timing of irrigation significantly affected the height and weight of lettuce.
