The fiber morphological properties are important quality parameters for pulp and paper production. The study aimed to characterize the fiber morphology and derived values of kalukoi branchwood and stemwood and compare the fiber morphology and derived values of kalukoi branchwood and stemwood. The study employed and carried out following a T-test experiment with 3 replications. The experimental treatment of the study was P1- Branchwood, and P2- Stemhwood. The result showed that branchwood obtained the highest value in flexibility ratio (5.30 µm), and relative density (1.90 µm ). Meanhwile, stemwood obtained the highest value in fiber length (1.77 µm), fiber diameter (13.50 µm), lumen diameter (6.66 µm), cell wall thickness (6.89 µm) and runkel ratio (2.10 µm). Statistically, no significant variation was observed in the fiber morphology and its derived values between branchwood and stemwood. Based on the fiber length and lumen diameter, kalukoi fiber would be suitable for pulp and paper with a good beating process. Further, the physical, mechanical, and chemical characterization of kalukoi wood would be relevant information to consider to validate its suitability for the intended uses.
