The performance of seven mungbean lines (EGM-97-314-7), (EGM-97-324-5, EGM-97-327-1, EGM-98-391, VC 1973-A, VG Mg 6506-127 and NSIC Mg17 NC) were evaluated to determine the most promising mungbean lines that would give the highest growth and yield under DMMMSU condition employing RCBD in four blocks from November 24, 2015 to February 07, 2016. EGM-97-327-1 and EGM-97-314-7 significantly exhibited the tallest plants. NSIC Mg17 (NC), the National Check flowered and matured the latest but produced the most number of pods per plant and obtained the longest pods. However, no significant differences on the days to emergence, survival rate, seeds per pod, seed yield and weight of 100 seeds.
