This study aims to explore the experiences of the students with parental responsibilities. It sought to elucidate what is like to be a parent and a student at the same time. Descriptive method (case study) was used in this study that refers to the opportunity to capture rich descriptive data about the struggling student, motivated student, and surviving student. The constructed questionnaire was validated by an expert as a guide in the interview. The respondents are students of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University South La Union Campus who came from different Colleges and ages at 18-35 of years old and have at least one child not older than 18 years old and above. The researchers found that the respondents had almost the same experiences enfacing their dual roles. The respondents were strongly motivated by the desire for their personal achievement, and the opportunity to provide a better future for their children. Education provided the respondents with a sense of growth, pride and achievement, as well as developing their professional identity.
