dc.description.abstractThis study focused on the development of the Pugo Adventure (PUGAD) Reservation System. Specifically, this study identified the profile of ICT Resources of Pugo Adventure in terms of hardware, software, peopleware and network; determined the status of the Pugo Adventure in terms of performance, information, economics, control efficiency and service developed a reservation system for Pugo Adventure using waterfall model. The descriptive and developmental methods were applied in this study. In developing the system, the waterfall model was utilized. To determine the results of the survey questionnaire, the researchers made use of the frequency count and mean. The members of the or EC and researchers decided to use the random sampling in determining the results. A total of fifty respondents, grouped into two 8 staff of Pugo Adventure and 42 customers were identified to test the usability of the Pugo Adventure Reservation System. A checklist was used to determine the profile of ICT Resources of the Pugo Adventure. The Website Analysis and Measurement Inventory instrument was used to validate the usability of the Pugo Adventure Reservation System. Gathered data were analyzed and interpreted using the frequency count and mean. The ICT Resources of Pugo Adventure existing reservation system is well equipped in terms of hardware, software, peopleware and network which can support communication, transaction, processing and application that can promote productivity network capability. The existing administrative systems of Pugo Adventure were generally perceived as constraint in all the indicators namely: performance, information, economics, control, efficiency and service. The Pugo Adventure Reservation System was developed to facilitate the needs of Pugo Adventure. Waterfall model was used in the development of the reservation system and runs in PHP as front-end and MYSQL as the back-end to provide a collaborative environment using forums and comments as well as reading feedback from the users and sending of reports. The assessed usability of the developed Reservation System was rated usable.
