This study delved on Automated Job Application System of Special Program of the Students (AJAS SPES). Specifically, its statement of the problems were: what is the status of the existing SPES in terms of the ICT Infrastructure in terms of hardware, software and peopleware; what are the procedures and requirements in applying SPES in terms of performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, services (PIECES) What system could be developed for SPES? What is the level of acceptability of the Automated Job Application system of special program of the students? This study used the descriptive and developmental method of research. The researchers interviewed two employees of SPES, Rapid Application Development in developing the system and floated checklist questionnaire to 17 respondents to get the status of the SPES procedure and requirements in terms of PIECES and another checklist questionnaire was administered to the same respondents for the level of acceptability of the proposed system. To quantify the results, mean was applied. Findings of the study revealed that based on the interview, the researchers have come to note that the existing SPES system has the needed resources such as hardware, the computer has functional parts such as AVR, CPU, keyboard, monitor, mouse, storage media, needed browser which would be installed at the SPES office, and a system's administrator/s that will operate the proposed system; as rated by the SPES students and SPES employees, the status of the existing system in terms of PIECES Framework was evaluated as "Constraint" and evidenced by the mean of 2.37. Due to the development of the system, the researchers had come to note that it is possible to develop using the Rapid Application Development which has four phases, the Requirements gathering, User design, Rapid construction and Cut cover. As rated by the SPES applicants and SPES employees, the level of acceptability for the system using WAMMI questionnaire was "Very Strongly Agree" and acceptable as evidenced by the mean of 4.20. All of the results were based on the descriptive meaning on the Likert Scale. Due to the findings; conclusion revealed as follows: Due to the findings that the existing system in terms of hardware, software, and peopleware, the researchers concluded that they had the capability to support the needed resources of the proposed system; the SPES system needs improvement due to slow process of job application, waste of time and effort for the SPES applicants. Based on the status of the existing system of SPES, the Automated Job Application System was developed through the Rapid Application Development, implemented using PHP in a Windows platform, with MySql as database and Ozeki NG SMS Gateway for the mobile confirmation.
