dc.description.abstractAs blended learning is required for all students and schools during the COVID-19 epidemic, particularly in the Philippines, using YouTube in learning become popular. Since YouTube provides varieties of language-learning resources, it becomes a popular tool to learn English. This study employs a qualitative descriptive design to explore the experiences of the participants in using YouTube. Using purposive sampling, this study explored the opinions of 40 participants and selected 20 participants who have the characteristics needed in the study which comprised second-year and third-year Bachelor of Arts in English Language students of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Agoo, La Union. The interview with the participants was recorded, listened to, transcribed, and translated. Themes were developed for similar codes. The researchers concluded that students learning English use YouTube to enhance their speaking skills and found it as an effective learning platform to study languages or even enhance English Speaking Skills.
