Abstract
Due to the harmful effects of chemical fertilizers to the environment and to the health of the populace, the need to explore alternatives which are locally available and abundant. Hence, this study on FAA for yellow corn intercropped with mungbean was conducted from October 2, 2013 to February 18, 2014 at the citrus project of DMMMSUNLUC. Results revealed that application of four liters FAA per linear meter of yellow corn intercropped with mungbean is comparable to those applied with commercial fertilizer (BSR) in terms of growth and yield performance. Mungbean as intercrop when applied with ¼ BSR + 3 litters FAA per linear meter performed comparably with those applied with 100% chemical fertilizer.
