dc.description.abstractThe Luna Peanut Processing Center is a purposeful project with the goal Of improving the social and economic well-being of the registered beneficiaries associated with the Ayaan Multi-purpose Cooperative. The Luna Peanut Processing Center was established in 2018 with funding appropriated by the Provincial Government of La Union. Its primary purpose was to promote economic development and support local peanut fanners by providing processing facilities and market access for their products. This study analyzes the project's contribution to the social and economic life of the registered members of Ayoan Multi-Purpose Cooperative. It utilized research-made survey questionnaires to gather data from 91 beneficiaries and 20 project implementers. Frequency and percentage analysis were applied to provide an understanding of the project's contribution. The result indicates that the project contributed to the socio- economic lives of the beneficiaries. The implementers perceived that some sustainability initiatives had not been implemented to ensure the project's sustainability. Furthermore, a policy brief was formulated to address issues and challenges identified in the study and strengthen the project's contribution.
