Due to the high cost of feeds, many researchers are finding ways to bring down the cost of producing broilers through the use of local materials as feed substitute. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the influence of different levels of cassava tuber meal and banana peel meal to broilers and to determine the profitability of feeding cassava tuber meal and banana peel meal. The study was conducted at Cadapli, Bangar, La Union from April 15 to May 20, 2012. Sixty, (14day old) chicks were used in the study employing the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) in three blocks with five birds per replicate. Result of the study revealed that birds fed with 10% cassava tuber meal and 5% banana peel meal + 5% cassava tuber meal significantly reduced the feed consumption of birds. However, the final weight, gain in weight, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost of birds fed with 10% banana peel meal, 10% cassava tuber meal and 5% cassava tuber meal + 5% banana peel meal were comparable with the birds fed with pure broiler starter mash.
