Abstract
This study is conducted to determine the Performance Factors of LGU employees of Balaoan, La Union as well as how these factors influence their performance and if there is a significant relationship between the factors and the profile of the respondents. Data were gathered from 87 employees of LGU of Balaoan, La Union, and the data was analyzed with the use of frequency counts, percentage, median and Spearman Rho correlation was used in terms of age, length of service and monthly salary; additionally, Chi-square test with Cramer’s V was used in terms of gender, employment status, highest educational attainment, and the factors. It was found out that most of the LGU employees of Balaoan, La Union are female, 36-45 years old, college degree holder, permanent, below 5 years of service, and their monthly salary starts with 13,999 or less. The findings show that the factors are very highly influential on the performance of the employees, and it also shows that there is a significant relationship between their profile and the factors in terms of Job design and Leadership Style.
