dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to develop an Io'I-based flood alert system for Narvacan, Sto. Tomas, La Union. Specifically, the study sought to achieve the following objectives: 1) develop a prototype of the IOT-Based Flood Alert System adopting the agile methodology, and 2) assess the system's level of acceptability using the User Technology Acceptability Questionnaire. Throughout the study, descriptive and developmental research methods were employed to accomplish its objectives. It focused on water level monitoring and an early warning system via SMS that alerted individuals to potential flood events, giving time to evacuate and abate the impact of flooding. The IOT-Based Flood Alert System for Narvacan, Sto. Tomas. La Union, was perceived as extremely high acceptance in terms of system usefulness, information quality, and interface quality with a grand mean of 6.87.
