Poultry raisers are faced with the problems of high feed cost, hence, exploring other alternative source of feed ingredients like rice middling in broiler production has to be undertaken. This study was conducted to determine the effects of different levels (5%, 10% and 15%) of rice middling (RM) as feed extender. It was conducted at the Poultry Project of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, and La Union from April 21, 2010 to May 25, 2010. Result of the study revealed that the experimental birds fed with different levels of rice middling were comparable to those birds fed with commercial ration in terms of final weight gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion efficiency and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.
