The Buy and Sell soft broom businesses in San Gabriel, La Union, serve as a source of income and aid the local economy. Soft brooms have always been a household item of daily use in continuous demand, providing a reliable means of livelihood. This study assessed the financial performance of buy-and-sell soft broom businesses by examining the relationship between business profile variables — such as registered status, business size, ownership structure, years of operation, location, and sources of inventory—and key financial indicators, including liquidity, profitability, and stability. Qualitative research was used, and data were analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, and ratio analysis. The result shows all were eight registered sole proprietorship businesses predominantly located near the public market. Over three years, their financial performance had improved. Among the business profile variables, only years of operation exhibited a statistically significant positive relationship, which was under profitability, suggesting that longer-established businesses are more financially viable.
