dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to develop an Enciphering and Deciphering Algorithm for Password Security. Specifically, it has the following objectives: (1) to construct enciphering and deciphering algorithm for password security and (2) to test the validity of the developed algorithm. The researchers utilized descriptive and developmental research. The MD5 and SHA-256 were the bases in the development of the algorithm. The findings of the study were the following: the developed VICTORIOUS 8 algorithm of enciphering and deciphering for password security was designed using PHP and MySQL. The evaluators of the algorithm rated it very much valid which is equivalent to 4.6.
