The demand of safe and healthy feeds and a healthy environment calls for organic production technologies especially in reducing use of synthetic fertilizer. Hence, the study was conducted to determine the best rate of vermicompost on the growth and yield of sweet potato. This study was conducted at Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union from December 08, 2015 to March 09, 2016 following RCBD in three blocks and 7 treatments. Result showed that sweet potato applied with 500g of vermicompost produce comparable yield to those significantly produce yield to those applied with chemical fertilizer (90-0-120 kg/ha) in terms on the weight of marketable storageroot.
