The poultry industry today is encountering difficulties due to costly feeds. One possible way of reducing cost is the use of locally available feedstuff. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the performance of broilers fed with fermented mungbean and corn grits as feed extender. This was conducted at Bungol, Balaoan, La Union from November 26, 2016 to December 30, 2016. A total of sixty day- old chicks were used in the study. The birds were distributed into four treatments in three blocks following the randomized complete block design. The result of the study showed highly significant differences in terms of feed consumption, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost, while the gain in weight was found significant.
