Abstract
This study proposed the music training design of Stardom Music and Arts Learning Studio. It also aimed to determine the profile of Stardom Music and Arts Learning Studio and the Student Respondents along age, gender, singing experience, and music preference. The finding showed that most of the 100 students respondents were adolescents. They had no formal training in voice lessons but they have performed in singing competitions or as a guest singer in different occasions. The respondents had a high musical interest while they prefer pop music because of the trend nowadays.
It also included the physical process of singing on articulation, phonation, posture, resonation, respiration, voice range and voice quality. The vocal faults encountered by the respondents during the training program was 'serious' in relation to the physical processes of singing along: articulation, phonation, posture , resonation, respiration, vocal range , and voice quality.
Likewise, the level of implementation of policies of Stardom Music and Arts Learning Studio was very high because students wanted to learn music sincerely and they did not want to waste their money and time in attending their classes while vocal coaches were very strict in implementing the policies for fear of losing their job. Data were gathered and analyze using frequency counts, percentages and weighted means. There were activities such as: lectures, demonstration, group phase, individually, physical and voice exercises, solo group singing that were used to help the students in overcoming their vocal faults. These activities are good steps for the child to enhance his/her talent and to boost up his/her social emotional growth and consciousness. It is also concluded that Stardom Music and Arts Studio is a profitable music school and that training needs to be continuous for the students. Based on the finding, the researcher recommends that Stardom Music and Arts Learning Studio needs to expand or establish a new music school because there were students from far places who were willing to attend the class. The proposed training design may be used to enrich the music subject especially in the art of singing. In business, this music design may be a guide in putting up a music school and to have more knowledge or ways on how to gain more income. Music teachers and music schools may adopt the proposed training design. Furthermore, research along this area may be explored to enrich/validate the findings of the study, as well as to improve music education.
