Abstract
The province of Bauang, La Union is considered as the birthplace of the Philippine Grape Industry. This study was designed to assess the production and marketing practices of grape farming in Bauang La Union. This study identified the profile of the grape farm enterprises production and marketing practices and its significant relationship to the farm enterprise profile, problems encountered and profitability of the grape enterprises in La Union. Data gathered using questionnaire were analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, and weighted mean. The study found out that majority of the grape farmers had 1,001-1,500 square meters. Most of the farmers preferred the cardinal variety. All grape growers sold their products directly to consumer and/or retailers. Most of the grape traders sourced their products from retailers, on pakyaw basis and on cash basis. Overall, grape farming is deemed profitable based on its ROI at 57.55%
