Abstract
This study aimed to design, fabricate, and evaluate a Hay shredder and corn grinder machine to assist in improving feed preparation for livestock farming. The machine was developed with integrated electrical components such as a motor, contactor, circuit breaker, push buttons, and indicator lamps to ensure proper and safe operation. Performance evaluation was based on throughput capacity (kg/hr), efficiency (%), and particle size distribution (mm) using sieve analysis. Results showed that the machine consistently achieved acceptable processing rates, high efficiency, and uniform particle size output across multiple trials. The project highlights not only improvements in agricultural productivity but also emphasizes the importance of the proper arrangement of electrical components for safer and more reliable machine function.
