    Using story mapping strategy in the reading comprehension performance of the grade 3 learners

    This study focused on utilizing story mapping strategy in the reading comprehension performance among the selected Grade 3 learners of Macayug Elementary School during the School Year 2022 - 2023. The study utilized a one-group pretest - posttest design. A written test was used in gathering the data. Mean, standard deviation, and paired samples t-test were the statistical tools used to analyze the data gathered. The result of the study showed somehow proficient in the pretest and posttest scores of the Grade 3 learners. Also, there was a significant difference between the performance of the Grade 3 learners in reading comprehension before and after the exposure 10 the story mapping strategy. Hence, reading comprehension of the grade 3 learners shows improvement after using the Story Mapping strategy.
