    Office competencies of barangax secret secretaries in District I municipalities of La Union

    Office competencies represent the effectivity and efficiency of barangay secretaries in the office. Office competencies have paved the way for understanding the essential skills that a barangay secretary possessed. Descriptive type of research was employed in the determination of the level of competence on office competencies of 169 Barangay Secretaries. The level of competence on Information and Communication Technology Skill, Communication Skill, and Records Management Skill were determined as basis of the developed training design. Finding the significant difference of office competencies across. The respondents 'profile was determined using such statistical tool Person Chi- square and Kruskal Wallis. A four-part survey instrument was employed and achieved results of competent. The competence of the respondents in office competencies denied the concept of significant difference across their profile. A training design was developed to upskill the barangay secretaries in terms of office competencies.
